Acta Koreana
Acta Koreana is an international journal of Korean Studies
published by Academia Koreana of Keimyung University. The journal, now in its
ninth year, was established for the purpose of promoting new research on Korea
by looking back to its history, as well as to the present and the immediate
future. It is published in English, and though it began as an annual publication,
starting with volume 5 (2002) it has been published twice a year, in January
and July. It is well recognized as an international academic journal on Korean
Studies, and is currently indexed in BAS (Bibliography of Asian Studies) and
SAD (Sociological Abstracts Databases). Before being accepted for publication,
all manuscripts are carefully evaluated and refereed by an international editorial
board composed of leading scholars in their respective fields.
